Fucking Moles is the perfect example of viral social media marketing.
Following a trend on Facebook and Instagram, we found a certain supermarket was coping alot of flack for its business practices regarding plastic bags. With a few simple but extremely relatable tote bag designs, a quickly whipped up wordpress ecommerce store and a well worded Facebook post, we had created viral content.
Within 48 hour the ecommerce store reached sales of over 12k with over 500 tote bags sold.
With the intention of raising funds for the Australian Marine Conservation Society and raising awareness for sustainability and our environment, we successfully utilised the viral power of social media for a little feat in social activism.
